| Electronic Texts for Health Literacy in Early Childhood Education |
| Picture books are both an art form and an artifact of culture. Designing picture books as electronic texts for health literacy require an awareness of multi-sensory and multi-modal elements of language. Steps for designing child-centered electronic texts will be outlined. Implications for organizing digital content as Habits of Health and Habits of Mind will be discussed via constructivist theory and language development. |
