MIXING: Energy Drinks + Alcohol=Deadly and Dangerous Combinations
MIXING-a new trend in the energy drink craze involves combining alcohol and energy drinks. “Mixing” creates a synergistic effect that can lead to an unreal sense of alertness while being physically and mentally impaired. The results can be harmful, fatal, and lead to increased risk taking behaviors among users. This session will discuss the multifaceted problems associated with this dangerous combination currently practiced by young adults and teens.
