21st Annual CAAD Symposium: Research on Aging
Dr. Anthony Vandervoort, 2010 Herbert de Vries Award recipient for distinguished research in aging, presents “Use It or Lose It: The Good News/Bad News Story about Physical Activity, Aging, & Muscle Function.” Vandervoort is acting chair in the Schools of Physical Therapy & Kinesiology at the U. of Western Ontario. Dr. Guoyuan Huang, 2010 Outstanding Young Researcher, presents “Aerobic Exercise Training & Cardiovascular Functions in Previously Sedentary Older Adults.” Huang is associate professor of exercise science at the U. of Southern Indiana. Other CAAD Awards presented.
