Functional Performance Testing Techniques for Athletic Trainers and Coaches
Functional performance tests can assist the clinician/coach/physical educator in making participation decisions and to determine overall functional performance levels. These tests are designed to simulate, in a controlled manner, the stresses produced and imposed during athletic participation and in many activities of daily living. The purpose of this workshop is to share clinical tests that have been proven to be valid and reliable and how the clinician/coach/physical educator can incorporate these tests into their settings.
