Dance, Stretch, Play & Learn: Exercises for Healthy Older Adults
This activity session will focus on providing fun and easy-to-learn ballroom dance, yoga, and health education activities. These low-impact activities have numerous health benefits, including improved body alignment, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Training resources and examples of community based programs will be included. The intended audience is health and fitness professionals who work primarily with older adults, beginner exercisers, and special populations. You will leave this session feeling informed and energized!
