Be Not Afraid: Implementing Volleyball Skills in Young Children
Volleyball is a lifelong sport that can be played at any age: in the physical education setting, competitively from youth to master, or at senior national and international competition. An overview of the basic skills (overhand/underhand passing, serving, attacking, and movement for back-court play) will be included in this hands-on session. Attendees will have opportunities to participate. We will provide examples of progressions and modified activities that work for elementary and middle school children.
