Sexual Violence and Teens: What Health Educators Can Do
Workshop will address problems of sexual violence and unhealthy relationships in adolescents. Developmentally appropriate classroom activities for middle and high school health classes will be presented in an experiential format. Topics will include unhealthy relationships, sexual and "textual" harassment, cyber-stalking, and date/acquaintance rape. Statistics and resources, including websites and clips from several excellent up-to-date DVD's, will be shared and discussed with attendees.
