Play On!: Playgrounds & Programs that Increase Physical Activity
Playgrounds, free play, and outdoor physical fitness programming can offer schools and educators new and creative ways to use playground equipment during physical education class, recess, after-school programming, or for mini “energizers” throughout the day. A recent research study will highlight the benefits that innovative playground programming can have on the physical intensity levels of students and the value that fun and creative playground activities can bring to your physical education programming efforts.
