Evidence of Discriminatory Hiring Practices for California High School Coaches
Despite 37 years of Title IX, gender inequity in high school sports remains a stubborn thorn for girls who love to play and for the coaches and parents who support them. This presentation will provide empirical evidence of discriminatory hiring of California high school coaches, suggesting that hiring protocols are needed to promote and sustain sport gender equity in high schools.
