352 AAHPERD Journal Writers' Workshop

This workshop will explain how to write acceptable articles for scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. Following an introductory overview, attendees will have the opportunity to meet in roundtable sessions with editors representing a variety of periodicals in the areas of HPERD to learn about the participating journals and gain valuable advice on submitting manuscripts. Participating journals have included: JOPERD, Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, American Journal of Health Education, Strategies: A Journal for Physical and Sport Educators, International Electronic Journal of Health Education, Women in Sport and Physical Activity Journal, and Measurement in Physical Education and Exercise Science.
