Social norm campaigns are successful strategies that focus on the impact of group norms on student attitudes and behaviors in the areas of alcohol, drug, tobacco, violence, and sexuality. The approach uses innovative posters, press releases, e-mails, screen savers, and PSAs which state the actual protective “healthy” behavior of the target population while identifying the protective behaviors of the comparative “norm” population. Participants will be given resources to develop effective campaigns for their student population.
