523 Planning a National Girls and Women in Sports Day Event

National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) is an annual event promoted by the National Association for Girls and Women in Sport (NAGWS) that encourages physical activity for females. During this presentation, a successful sport clinic model of NGWSD will be introduced. Specifically, strategies used to organize, plan, and run a sport clinic celebration for NGWSD will be presented. Special attention will be paid to leadership opportunities, volunteer responsibilities, marketing, and day-of-event coordination.
