CEU OPPORTUNITY: This session will examine current requirements and recommendations for coaches in First Aid [FA], Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation [CPR], and Automated External Defibrillator [AED] training at the state and national levels. To better understand this issue, injury scenarios will be discussed with an emphasis on the ethical responsibility of coaches to be prepared for these situations. Participants will receive materials concerning emergency preparedness, AED certification options, and how to advocate for AED implementation.
