A panel composed of independent school physical education teachers,coaches and athletic directors will discuss current issues and positive aspects of teaching/coaching within a private school sector. Components unique to an Independent school will be discussed as they impact the physical education teacher/coach. In addition, the panel will provide “tips from the trenches” to those teachers and coaches first entering the independent school sector on the unique nature of single-gendered, coed, and religious affiliated independent schools.
