A one-day workshop designed to teach participants how to perform and teach basic adventure skills in a gymnasium setting with an emphasis on safety. Content includes: adventure without ropes activities, swinging and traversing activities on gym ropes, Prusik climbing, belay techniques, and climbing on innovative equipment. Curriculum materials for use in conducting programs will be distributed. Certificate of completion and CEUs offered. Pre-registration required.
