Strategies for Addressing HIV Prevention
This session will explore how the collaborative efforts of a state education agency, several state universities, and a community health education center were combined to develop a unique and innovative workshop opportunity to meet the needs of teachers in this topic area. This presentation will also provide educators with an update of current information concerning the HIV epidemic and present appropriate teaching methods that focus on encouraging healthy behavior among youth.
