Let’s Get Kids Moving: Strategies for Combating Childhood Obesity |
With childhood obesity becoming an epidemic for adolescents, it is time to help students find meaningfulness, value, and fun with lifetime fitness-related activities. The first part of this session will focus on modifications to board, dice, and card games and creating an exciting fitness atmosphere which enhances muscular fitness for kids. The second part will focus on a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that promote health-related fitness goals for elementary and middle school students. |
