New Activity Options for Older Adults
This session will send you home with a plethora of new activities. The first part of the session will examine how fall prevention training can allow for independent living sooner. The water is an excellent medium for teaching people with balance deficits; and the beneficial carry-over to land is documented. In the second part of the session, participants will learn four different take home mat routines incorporating strength, flexibility and abdominal work.
