Dancing at the Crossroads: Percussive Clogging & Irish Social Dancing |
Experience the joy of percussive clogging, with Irish folk and social dance, for aerobic, choreographic and cultural experiences in school and community physical education. Learn basic steps, formations and vocabulary particular to clogging, Irish ceili and set dancing; application of the National Dance Standards; and historical information and customs indigenous to these unique rhythmic genres. This is a participation session open to all: Group and two-hand dances will be taught. No special shoes required.
