Managing Internship Risks with Contracts |
Internships can involve some risk for universities because they have reduced control over student interns who often work off campus. Risk transfer is an alternative, leaving the risk intact but shifting responsibility for it elsewhere. Two primary categories of risk transfer are through insurance and contracts. This presentation will discuss how a university, student, and cooperating agency can protect themselves by implementing insurance and internship contracts. |
