Advocating to the Health Decision Makers
In advocating for the health of children, it is essential to understand the scope and role of decision makers which impact all health policy and decisions. This presentation will take the health educator from the teacher to the governor using North Carolina as a model. To be an effective advocate, the health educator must understand the workings of all the different decision makers and how to have maximum impact on each group.
