Affective Means Effective: Strategies for Increasing Emotional Arousal in Classrooms |
Arousing attitudes, feelings, or emotions has been shown to increase information retention and better engage learners. In this hands-on session, participants will watch and/or participate in strategies geared toward the affective domain, and learn how teaching to the affective domain can help students better understand lessons taught in the secondary health classroom. |
