Positive “Blue Ocean” Community Health Strategy to Prevent Childhood Obesity
The most promising approach dealing with the overweight/obesity problem is through positive, integrative, community-based interventions. Through the leadership of academic institutions, partnerships with health departments, city-councils, non-profit organizations, government entities, lobbyists, and special interests groups can be formed. The attendee will receive instruction on the positive community health approach which utilizes the acclaimed Blue Ocean Strategy to learn best practice guidelines in formulating, planning, funding, implementing, and evaluating a positive, integrative, and community health intervention.
