Line Dancing With a "Twist" |
Line dances have long been a valued social activity for various ages, genders, and cultures. When taught in an educational setting, they serve as a means of teaching agility, coordination, sequential patterning, rhythmic acuity, and spatial relationships. "Fun and easy", they enhance learning through movement while aiding the creative process. Use of music, style, and social interaction will be addressed. The dances will help the learner fit into the social dance scene of today.
