Infusing Spanish and American Sign Language in Physical Education |
Teachers often struggle to identify ways to communicate with children with disabilities, especially if these children are Spanish-speaking or use sign language. This presentation provides teachers with a spectrum of developmentally appropriate activities for school-aged students with and without disabilities who are Spanish speakers or who use American Sign Language. Strategies to acquire communication skills to accommodate students with diverse backgrounds will be presented in Spanish and ASL. |
