Service Learning: Building Community Partnerships |
Service learning provides learners with the opportunity to apply course content skills and knowledge in a “real life” setting. Service learning provides a beneficial service for the community and increases community collaboration and partnerships. This presentation will focus on service learning opportunities that can be applied to multidisciplinary health education settings such as school health, worksite health promotion, and community health. Sample projects and assessment strategies will be shared with participants. |
