Professional Development Programs: Decreasing Barriers Women Face in Sports Careers
Women have made tremendous strides in the sports arena. However, there are still far too many who experience obstacles during their entry to and progression through their careers. Strategies for advancing careers and overcoming obstacles will also introduce the NCAA/NACWAA Womens's Leadership Symposium in Intercollegiate Athletics (WLS) which provides an affordable education opportunity for students and professionals. The ultimate objective is for attendees to feel confident, educated and energized about professional opportunities in the industry.
