Creating Learning Experiences that “Speak” of Skill Development
Session will consist of a presentation and hands-on experience for turning the PreK – 12th grade National Health Education Standards’ performance indicators into skill-based learning experiences. A five task skill development plan will be introduced and opportunities for working with the plan will be provided. The plan centers on developing a performance or product based experience that utilizes a step by step skills-driven approach to developing one or more of the eight NHES skills.
