Caribbean Culture and Social Dance Workshop
This half-day intensive workshop explodes like fireworks with the energies of the Caribbean! Celebrate your Florida experience learning popular social dances, African-based rhythms, history and musical traditions of Cuba, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo and other cultures, from their origins all the way to Broadway. Sway with our many guest artists who share traditions, dance, costuming and creative ideas with National Dance Standards-based materials – within a free, social and creative environment.
