Community Connections for Lifelong Recreation |
This presentation focuses on an exciting, systematic, and successful program that requires juniors and seniors to apply lifetime activities taught in PE and/or to participate regularly in physical activity (Standard 3) through several community partnerships. In short, students practice being physically active as adults. Topics include a program overview, forming collaborations, verifying student participation, getting approval, successful strategies, potential pitfalls, assessment, and pictures. A Web site will supplement all session materials. |
