Advocacy 102: Incorporating Advocacy Skills into Professional Preparation Programs |
This session describes the importance of including health advocacy training in professional preparation programs. The program will provide examples of how advocacy activities can be incorporated into a variety of health education core courses. Participants will examine case studies to determine advocacy opportunities. A discussion of advocacy strategies (letter writing, representative visits, etc.) and delivery methods including using technology will be included. |
