Targeting Girl's Programs for Personal Fun and Success |
2 related sessions: Fitness and health parameters decline in young girls. Reach out to non-athletic/overweight girls who don't enjoy physical activity. Teaching nutrition basics, fitness and fun non-competitive activities. Learn strategies to boost self-esteem, fitness level and health of teen girls. Use the information to develop a class modeled after the Personal Training Class developed by Betty Kern. We will also discuss a research feasibility project to assess a novel community-based, collaborative after school program. |
