The Sisterhood Project-Stress Management Programs for At-Risk Girls
Research from a mentoring and stress management program for at risk high school girls teamed with university students serving as mentors will be presented. As the number of students “at-risk’ for stress continue to rise in our schools, providing effective stress management programs are of a critical need. The presentation will discuss service learning and ideas for facilitating similar projects in a variety of situations: in school, after school and Saturday programs.
