Women as Mentors: The Essential Connection
This session will introduce a panel of young women who have benefited from mentoring relationships as graduates of sport and physical activity academic programs. The protégés’ stories and eye-opening advice will provide female students with ways to create opportunities in gaining experience and visibility, managing time, and learning the art of networking. Learn how these women were successfully mentored and in turn developed ways to successfully mentor students in sport and physical activity academic programs.
