Minimize Transmission of Communicable Skin Diseases during Combative Activities |
To help physical educators minimize risk of transmission of communicable skin diseases during combative activity lessons (e.g. self defense, wrestling, or judo), an overview of some common skin diseases found to be transmitted between participants in combative activity environments will be provided. Following discussion of these skin diseases, suggested preventative measures to minimize the risk of transmission will be presented. |
