40 Years and Beyond: Conversations with ESG Founders and Leaders
Examine the past, present, and future of Eta Sigma Gamma, including a brief video of interviews with early leaders, providing a historical perspective of the founding, major successes, and challenges ESG has addressed in its 40 years of existence. The panel discussion will provide an illustration of the role ESG has played in “passing the torch” from faculty mentor to students; the transition from student Gamman to professional health educator; the transition of the organization from leadership from the founders to the establishment of an elected board of directors; and the expectations of the organization from a historian’s perspective.
