How to Get an EnergyNow! Grant for Your School |
EnergyNow! is a results-based grant program that enables P-12 public schools to enhance their physical education and nutrition education programs. The $12,000/school grant package includes $2,500 for physical education equipment, a three-day professional development workshop, NASPE publications, School Nutrition Association nutrition education lessons, Polar heart rate monitors and assessment tools, pedometers, and technical support and consultation during the grant period. At this session, hear from the first grantees (December 2007) and learn how to write a proposal for upcoming grant cycles, with the next one expected to be announced in spring 2008. |
