Accreditation of Academic Programs in the Exercise Sciences:
Accreditation of Academic Programs in the Exercise Sciences: What's in it for your program? What's in it for your students? The time has come for academic programs in the exercise sciences to step up and become accredited in order to both attract students and promote the continued establishment of professions in the exercise sciences. The Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (COAES - www.coaes.org) has been established for this exact purpose. In this session you will learn about the history, value and process of the COAES accreditation as well as its vital role in promoting professions within the exercise sciences.
