| All physical education teacher educators are invited to come together to celebrate their profession. The luncheon will be followed by a ceremony honoring the PETE programs that were approved for national recognition in 2007 according to the NASPE Initial or Advanced PETE standards. The PETE Honor Award will also be given to an individual, entity, or program that has done exemplary work in PETE and had an effect on teacher education beyond their own university or setting. After the certificates and award have been presented, the luncheon will feature an address by an outstanding professional related to the field of physical education teacher education. |
