The Importance of Mentoring
Mentoring is an important part of helping our students and beginning teachers during their first years of teaching. This session will offer three different perspectives to mentoring. The first part will focus on Developing the Expert Mentor in Physical Education. The second discussion will highlight the Magic of Mentoring which is incorporated in the Wellness Activities and Lifestyle Knowledge (WALK) mentoring program. A round table discussion on New Haven’s Mentoring program will conclude the presentation.
