Building Support Among Education Decision Makers for Obesity Prevention |
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Association of State Boards of Education (NASBE), and NASPE join forces in providing physical educators with the tools to be proactive in advocating for physical education, nutrition, and physical activity programs that will make a difference in reducing childhood obesity. This session will empower educators to engage in policy discussion by providing them with an overview of new, compelling resources available from CDC, NASBE, NASPE, and other national non-governmental organizations who are working together to prevent childhood obesity. |
