NASPE/History of Sports and Physical Education Academy
Olympic History
In honor of the 2008 Olympics the three papers in this session explore different historical aspects of the modern and ancient Games. Don Kyle, "Myths and History: Women and the Ancient Olympic Games"; Matthew Llewellyn: "Los Angeles and the Legacies of the 1932 and 1984 Olympic Games"; and Thomas Hunt, "The Evolution of Olympic Doping Policy." A discussion will follow the three 20 minute papers.
