This workshop addresses: 1) challenges and solutions to make effective school health promotion a reality; 2) examines the research on positive connection-building and provides practical strategies to foster connections among youth; and 3) provides alternative, interactive lesson plans using popular culture to help students develop intrapersonal decision making skills.
