This session focuses on the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of statewide professional development programs for teachers to engage in the California K-12 Content Standards in Physical Education. This session focuses on the work to date, its process for engaging teachers in standards-based instruction, and the progress made. Other states may benefit from the lessons learned and the next steps in California’s statewide standards reform effort. |
