FIT: Fitness through Intergenerational Teamwork
Fitness through Intergenerational Teamwork (FIT) is an intergenerational program that develops partnerships to improve overall fitness, activity and nutrition of older adults and children through nutrition and activity assessments, network building in the community, evaluation of program effectiveness, and reflection of the value of services. Through specifically designed FIT Kits each individual stays motivated and engaged in the FIT process. Demonstration of the FIT process through experiential activities will be presented.
