Play Your Way to Fitness
Would your students rather play a game or run laps? Does your weight room limit the type of strength training you provide? Do your students understand benefits of fitness? Can your students have fun and still learn to value fitness? The CDC recommends physical activities be fun, provide opportunities to gain skills in a variety of activities and help build students’ self confidence so that students will want to participate in activity for a lifetime. Keeping this recommendation in mind, this presentation will provide participants with innovative activities in a tactical game format with the integration of functional strength training.
