Fiesta Latina and Caribbean: Dance to new rhythms
Learn new rhythms and movements representing current Latin/Caribbean styles: Lambada, Merengue, Regeton, Salsa, Cumbia, Punta and Kuliquitaka. The steps are easy and fun with both single and partners’ combinations and a lot of hip motions. Finish with “La Hora Loca” (the Crazy Hour); a time toward the end of the session, in which the dancers move freely to the different rhythms. Participants wear different kinds of hats while they make noise with whistles and maracas as they move around the dance floor. This is a fun learning and enthusiastic session.
