Women Accessing Health Care Today: Pitfalls and Successes
Health care! We all need it! Women are the primary movers and shakers in accessing it. But it is not limited to just the women. This session looks at the issues faced in trying to obtain the best for all of our loved ones. The qualitative research examined the stories of fifteen women from four states in their quest for care. Exploration of their success and pitfalls associated with today’s access to care will provide some ways to become proactive that will benefit all, either in a crisis or for routine care, from infancy to the elderly.
