This presentation provides an overview of the unique contexts of children and youth affected by the long-standing conflict in Northern Uganda, components of a resocialization and reintegration processes of former child soldiers, the nature of sports as part of this process, insights into the speaker's field work utilizing participation in sports, and future implications for the role of sport in the development of war-affected children and youth. |
