Development of Bowling Assessment Tool for Individuals with Mental Retardation
The purpose of this study was to develop the assessment tool of bowling for individuals with mental retardation. Firstly, it had been developed by reviewing previous studies, analyzing bowling forms and rules of using bowling alleys. Then, it has been amended by experts of bowling and adapted physical education (APE). The person of APE degrees (N=10), bowling degrees (N=10), and APE degrees who took bowling class (N=10) took part in the study to verify reliability. Results indicated that the assessment tool of bowling in the study is a reliable measure of bowling for individuals with mental retardation.
